The Crisp County School District (CCSD) is proud to share the results of its 2025 School Climate Survey, offering valuable insight into the experiences of students, families, teachers, and staff across the district.
The 2025 School Climate ratings are as follows:
Crisp County Primary School (CCPS): 4.5/5
Crisp County Elementary School (CCES): 3.75/5
Crisp County Middle School (CCMS): 3/5
Crisp County High School (CCHS): 2.75/5
School climate is a broad measure of the quality of school life, reflecting the experiences of students and adults, including families, teachers, and staff. The Georgia Department of Education’s School Climate Star Rating uses a 1-to-5-star system to evaluate the quality of a school’s learning environment. A 5-star rating represents an excellent climate, while a 1-star rating indicates the greatest need for improvement, as defined by O.C.G.A. § 20-14-33.
These ratings are determined based on four key indicators:
Student attendance records
Data related to maintaining a safe and substance-free environment
Measures of student discipline, including weighted suspension rates
Survey responses from students, parents, teachers, and staff
Superintendent Dr. Brandon Williams emphasized the importance of the data and the district’s commitment to growth:
"While not all of the school climate results are where we want them to be, we remain excited to share the 2025 results of our school climate survey. These results provide valuable insight into the experiences of our parents, students, and staff. We are committed to using this data to continue improving our schools and creating a better Crisp County through education."
District leaders will use this data to identify strengths, address areas for improvement, and guide ongoing efforts to enhance the educational environment for all students.
