https://gshs.gadoe.org/parents   The Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) requires that schools notify parents/guardians about the student survey and give them the option to opt out before the student survey is administered. Students in Mrs. Thomas 6th grade science class presented their problem based learning assignment yesterday. They took on Director Steven Spielberg and the gross misrepresentation of moon phases in his movie E.T. The Extraterrestrial. Students had to state a claim, present evidence, and their reasoning before the court. They were cross examined by the judge and classmates. In the end the students found Mr. Spielberg and his team guilty of misrepresenting the moon phases. They have asked that Mr. Spielberg digitally remaster the movie scene to reflect accurate science. What an awesome way to learn! We truly have the best here at CCMS! #elevate
